Day 17, Sahagún

So the rain definitely falls on the plain. And inside the albergue. Big fun in last nights accommodations, which was a renovated convent. You can see the original structure in the final photo, which also indicates the roof had collapsed before, and a video where the rain is coming perilously close to the coffee vending machine. Noooooo!

Before the monsoon came crashing though and a look at how the space was partitioned into sleeping pods.

The first indication there might be an issue. Rain coming though an open window, and how do you get up there to close it?

The rains infamously fall on the plain. They also fall inside old converted convents. For more on this experience, see my blog at TheresaElliottBlog.com
