The Via Francigenia begins in Canterbury, England and ends in Rome for a total of 2,000km. I started in the middle, Lake Genevea, Switzerland, and did a portion of this extremely varied camino. To read from the start, click here.

In the middle of this map is Lake Geneva. This gives a terrific perspective of how long the walk is, and the portions I did are easy to locate: Lausanne to Aosta, and down on the boot, Lucca to Siena.
