Statue of St Bernard on the Via Francigenia
Via Francigenia,
Switzerland & Italy
August 19 - September 4, 2019
Lausanne to Aosta, Lucca to Sienna, Firenza
283km
The Via Francigenia begins in Canterbury, England and ends in Rome for a total of 2,000km. I started in the middle, Lake Genevea, Switzerland, and did a portion of this extremely varied camino. To read from the start, click here.
In the middle of this map is Lake Geneva. This gives a terrific perspective of how long the walk is, and the portions I did are easy to locate: Lausanne to Aosta, and down on the boot, Lucca to Siena.
