Lighting in Churches

What you see when you walk in. It’s dreary.

What you see when you walk in. It’s dreary.

Lighting in the churches is challenging. It’s flat out dark. However, iPhone /photo automatically changes the exposure and brightness when photographing, making it easier to see a subject by looking at the photo, instead of the real thing. Below I have posted three photos of the same church. 1) What it really looks like when you enter. 2) What iPhone does automagically. 3) What it looks like when you drop one euro into a little box that turns the lights on.

What it really looks like. To see it, you have to get very close.

What iPhone does automagically. I’d say it’s significant.

What it looks like when you drop one euro into a little box that turns the lights on. Makes it all pretty and sparkly.
