Our Back Yard

It’s fun to see what goes on in our new backyard. We have secured a small apartment in the Anfiteatro, an iconic landmark in the heart of Lucca. See below for photos with captions, and click here if you are interested in it’s long and interesting history.
Arial view. My sister was able to take this photo on her TV screen. She looked it up after I told her where we were living, and this was my first inkling of its notoriety.
