Beautiful Burgos
Looking over the city of Burgos, my favorite wind turbines in the background.

Walking into the city from the day before. Graffiti is prevalent in Spain, usually well done, and sometimes beautiful.
The enormity of this cathedral combined with the surrounding narrow streets makes it impossible to get a single shot of it. However, the backside does offer nice views.
Looking down a side street to the front of the cathedral.
Each of the major cathedrals in Spain has a strength or “thing.” In Burgos, it is the spectacular ceilings.
Ceiling with botafumeiro.
Retablo with the “Where’s Waldo” of botafumeiros in this photo.
Important dead people.
Detail of the hands being dead.
Chalices used over the centuries.
I loved this dress and was trying to get a photo of it. I wound up loving the photo itself of this lovely young women prancing down the street in her blue polka dotted frock.
Spain is one of the cleanest countries I have seen, and here’s why. Every town has one of these babies and they are constantly at it.
