Sandy Brown walking in the mist.

Sandy Brown walking in the mist.

Today we begin the final stage into Fisterra. This is our second of three endings, and more than finishing the Camino de Santiago, this feels like a completion to me.

In 8 hours we will have walked from France, completely across Spain, to the Atlantic ocean. This never would have happened if not for my adventurous, tour-director, guidebook writing, pastor husband Sandy Brown.

My posts documenting this trek were made all the more amusing by his hilarious nature, which I pinged off of all day long, and much of the “funny” I relayed while on this walk was made even more so by his quick witted mind.

And away we go.
